Hiking Club – Baldpate Mountain

Our next Hiking Club event will be Sunday, February 28 at 12:00 pm. We will be hiking Baldpate Mountain (a different starting point and route than our hike in the fall).
When: Sunday, February 28 at 12:00 pm
Where: Baldpate Mountain, Titusville NJ. We will meet in the parking lot by the Lodge and visitor center (see map)
What to Bring:
– Scouts and other attendees should be sure to pack the Cub Scout Six Essentials: First Aid Kit; Water; Flashlight; Trail Food; Sun Protection; Whistle.
– Face mask (which must be worn during the hike in order to comply with the park and the state’s regulations).
– Sturdy shoes or hiking boots.
Be Prepared for the weather!
Route:
We will be hiking the NW Loop Trail (the red trail). The hike will be approximately 2.5 miles round-trip – we’ll have the official tally at the end of the hike.

As always we’ll be observing the Outdoor Code and Leave No Trace Principles on this hike, as well as the Pack 10 covid guidance.
